Integrity
We uphold honesty, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct.
We were established to contribute to sustainable rural development and biodiversity conservation through community-centered interventions.
The African Initiative for Rural Development and Biodiversity (AIRDAB) is a dynamic organization committed to fostering economic empowerment for the vibrant youth, women and refugees in rural communities. We are dedicated to cultivating sustainable livelihoods and protecting precious biodiversity for future generations.
Our mission is to create innovative and sustainable development projects that promote economic growth while preserving and enhancing biodiversity. We believe in the power of local action to create global impact, focusing on sustainable practices that benefit both people and the planet.
AIRDAB envisions a future where rural Africa thrives in both economic prosperity and biodiversity. Through close collaboration with communities, we advance initiatives that strengthen resilience, promote self-sufficiency, and safeguard the environment.
AIRDAB begins working directly with rural communities in Kasese, focused on climate-smart agriculture, biodiversity conservation and rural livelihoods.
AIRDAB is registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau as a Company Limited by Guarantee, formalizing our accountability as an independent not-for-profit.
